  • See the <b>Relationships Tab</b> for a list of publications that describe or touch upon diagram types that show "end-to-end" (E2E) processes.<br/>These types of diagram also include "swim-lane" diagrams (first invented or popularised by Geary Rummler) and "value chain" diagrams (Michael Porter).<br/>The main point of such  conventions is to represent hand-overs between different functions or departments - i.e. a visual convention that powerfully demonstrates the way value is created by orchestrating different parts of the organization.<br/>
